Sunday in Kinshasa

It’s quiet today. It’s the best day to drive around and see the city. There’s no traffic or hardly any. You can take a few pictures without being harassed. If you want, you can drive out of the city but there’s tons of traffic as you leave the city centre…

It’s getting warmer. The rainy season is upon us.

Here are a few pictures I took over the last few days. Let me know what you’d like to see more of! Or hear more about 🙂

BBQ at home…
The river loop at sunset… lovely sunsets everyday
D’Vins restaurant. A nice pool and a good break from the madness.
Stuck in traffic on the weekday. Story of many lives here!
Another sunset on the river loop… some epic views here…
I didn’t take this picture… but do yourself a favour and go on the river. It’s definitely worth seeing at least once or every weekend if you love it.
